WELCOME TO THE NATIONAL RAIL SAFETY REGULATORS' PANEL WEBSITE

The Rail Safety Regulators' Panel (RSRP) consists of the Rail Safety Regulators from all States, the Northern Territory and New Zealand. The key role of the RSRP is to provide advice to the Safety Standing Sub-Committee (SafetySSC) and National Transport Commission (NTC) on rail safety regulatory issues to help enhance safety and regulatory outcomes consistent with the co-regulatory framework.

To facilitate and maintain the co-regulatory framework, the RSRP meets regularly with a cross section of industry representatives through the Rail Safety Co-Regulation Group and formally consults with the NTC. The RSRP is also represented on various national committees.
